We believe Injured Workers deserve a Worker’s Compensation Expert in their corner.

We understand how frustrating it can be to be injured, while trying to navigate a compensation system you simply don’t understand.

We know that Employers have unlicensed representatives pushing hard to get your claim denied.

We know how unfairly the system seems stacked against injured workers, and when your frustration shows, you get told that you are the problem. We can help.

We are here to help manage every aspect of your claim; the same way Employers have dedicated “specialists” working hard for them.

Meet The Team

Mathieson Goddard

Chief Executive Officer, Licensed Paralegal

Mathieson earned his honours degree in Paralegal Studies in 2008 from Westervelt College.

In 1998, Mathieson earned a degree in Quality Engineering at Fanshawe College.

As a Former Workers’ Compensation Employer Representative, Mathieson has represented some of the largest employers in Canada, while previously employed from 2008 through 2021, at one of the top Occupational Health and Safety Service providers in Canada.

Since 2012, Mathieson has worked with a team of Appeals Specialists, personally returning millions of dollars to the pockets of big business. Mathieson walked away from representing Employers after seeing firsthand unethical and dishonest practices within the industry.

At the same time, Mathieson, while assisting an injured worker (pro-bono) navigate a complex and contentious claim in which the Employer misled, misinformed, and outright lied about the details of the injury, modified work, and the Worker’s character.

Mathieson witnessed the WSIB create and manipulate evidence to use against the worker to deny the worker's entitlement to benefits in 23 separate decisions in that claim. All but two of these decisions were overturned. Those two decisions (that remain denied) will be heard at a final WSIAT Hearing.

This was just the beginning. Mathieson believes he was called by a higher power to serve the working class, against a system stacked against them.
